Student posts may not be 
properly restricted to their own group when creating a Discussion post from a mobile device. When this occurs, all users with access to that Topic will be able to see the post, and the post will appear to have been made to a “Deleted Group. This is a bug that has been reported and confirmed by Desire2Learn.
At this time we recommend users avoid creating Discussion posts from mobile devices when possible.
When grading Discussions, Instructors should view “All Groups” to ensure that there are not any posts being excluded from the View.

On Saturday, August 5th between 9:00AM and 3:00PM Turnitin.com and Turnitin integration with Desire2Learn will be undergoing essential maintenance and will be unavailable.
Instructors are encouraged to modify assignment due dates either before or at least several hours after the scheduled maintenance window.

On Wednesday, August 2nd between 5am and 8am VBrick Rev (http://streaming.uww.edu) will be unavailable for scheduled maintenance. During this outage, we will be deploying the latest version of VBrick Rev.

There is an upgrade to Desire2Learn scheduled to start at 9:30pm on Wednesday, June 14th and be completed by 10:30am on Thursday, June 15th. During this time, you will not be able to access Desire2Learn. Please plan your summer course work accordingly.

On Thursday, June 1st, 2017 between ~9:25 PM and 11:55 PM users were unable to access videos hosted on http://streaming.uww.edu (VBrick Rev). The issue has now been resolved.

On Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 VBrick Rev (streaming.uww.edu) was updated to use our common campus login process (Shibboleth).
Previously, some videos that were embedded into D2L courses and other sites requires users to login again to view them – hence causing a “double login” just to view the videos. We are excited to say that with this update, the double login screen is gone! We are now able to seamlessly authenticate the user automatically in the background, removing the second login screen that they were seeing before.
