Clear Slime Base

Clear base slime is for slimes that you would want to be clear. A lot of people enjoy clear based slimes because they are pretty especially if you add colors to it. There are some slimes that require a clear base because it tends to be stickier. Clear slime is a little bit harder to perfect compared to a normal white glue slime. You are not able to add other things like lotion and shaving cream because it will cause the slime to be cloudy. This slime is tricky to master but once you do, you will be happy with the results.

Ingredients needed: Clear Glue, water, and borax solution.

Step 1: Pour a while bottle of the clear slime into a bowl.

Step 2: Add a splash of water into the glue and mix well. You want to have a thinner texture than with just the glue.

Step 3: Slowly add the borax solution. This is very important because it is a lot easier to ruin clear slime with over activating. Slowly add and mix until the slime is not sticking to the bowl.

Step 4: Knead the slime until it is no longer stringy. The slime will most likely not be clear at this point. It will look cloudy because of all of the bubbles that were caused when kneading the slime.

Step 5: Let the clear slime sit in a closed container for 2-3 days until all of the bubbles clear up. The slime should be clear enough to see through it.

This slime might take you a few tries to get it perfect. It took me awhile to be able to get the right texture. It is well worth it though!
