The Big Boys get their Buff
It’s long been known that when you play Gibraltar and Caustic that you put yourself at a disadvantage due to their large character rigs. While the last update fixed the issue enough for Pathfinder, these two were just too damn bulky for a hitbox tweak. Playing these two meant you were going to get shot more and go down more, flat out. So Respawn gave them both a new passive in addition to their current ones. The damage they take now is reduced by 10%, for everything. Body shots, headshots, melee, explosives, the works. This gives them an effective 110 HP, and…

Brace Yourselves, the Rabbids are Coming
Men, we stand here today against our greatest enemy yet…. Dear God. Ubisoft, continuing with its April Fool’s shenanigans, added these little mongrels into For Honor this week. All minions are replaced with derpy rabbids, and all menu sounds now emit a shout, scream, or other squeaky toy-esk noise. While it’s less “in your face” than Siege’s April Fool content, the community is more split about it. Many site it as “too far” for the usually gritty and serious melee fighter, while others appreciate the joke. I rather enjoy the content, as its a fun character and rather enjoyable to smash dozens of them on the battlefield. Unlike Siege, however,…

And as March turns to April, Siege gets Weird
Hoooo boy. Embracing April Fool’s Day and it’s fringe community, Ubisoft decided to add a new game mode and some very out-there skins. Like, really out there: The game mode is a special Hostage, Plane only playlist, to save this guy: Yikes! Along with the game mode, there are a medley of skins, headgear, and charms to unlock. You get one special Alpha Pack for free, and one more if you complete the special challenge by destroying 40 attacker drones. That’s right, 40. I recommend picking either Bandit and setting up some quick shock wires, or Smoke since he has the least set up out of the limited defender choices…

Did I Accidentally Launch Borderlands 2? – Season 1 of Apex Legends has Dropped!
Is this now “old news?” Yes. Is this post abysmally late? Absolutely. But that won’t stop me! Apex Legends launched Season 1 and with it a Battle Pass, bought for 950 Apex Coins (Or roughly $9.50). It comes with a fair amount of features, all cosmetic. Skins for Legends and weapons, as well as new banners for season specific stats like wins and kills. Best of all though, if you level up the pass enough you gain 1000 Apex Coins, refunding your purchase! But the more important release was by far the new Legend, Octane; And boy can this sucker move. With abilities to increase his own and his teams…

One More Reason to Pick up those Energy Rounds – The Havoc Rifle is Here!
Bringing the energy weapon count up to an unimaginable 3, Apex introduced the Havoc Rifle last week. This sucker is lighter and more accurate than the Devotion, and has a shorter but still present spin-up time before firing. Taking all the standard rifle attachments, plus the “Turbocharger” Hop-Up attachment, it’s a force to be reckoned with at close to medium range. Using this gun myself left me a tad disappointed, as it had a similar fire rate to the Devotion but a much smaller magazine. I felt like I could never down a target without using 2-3 reloads worth of ammo, and the spin-up time always threw me off, just…
