Currently, you are at an age where you no longer fit in at the kids’ table but are also not constrained by the major decisions that dictate adulthood such as a mortgage. You are in your 20s, pre-adulting, and wondering how to live the life many college movies promised. Before the demands of a nine to five become commonplace, below is a list of budget-friendly, memory-worthy trips to take at twenty.

Discovering the world through music

A dream trip anywhere in Africa can cost an average of $1190 from the  United States. A more economic approach to experience a taste of the great African Continent is through its music. Fortunately, the AfroNation music festival scheduled for March 24-26, 2022 in Puerto Rico provides a sunny destination trip for an exciting music festival showcasing the biggest names in Hip-Hop, Amapiano, Afrobeats, and Afro-house.

Multi-Day Hiking Trip

After having been cooped up for the majority of the past year. The opportunity to get outside can be taken through a multi-day hiking trip. Fortunately, one does not have to look far to enjoy this natural trip as Wisconsin has at least 8 backpacking sites that will allow you to combine the joy of camping, hiking, and being with friends or family for three to four days. Terrain difficulty selection also allows those wanting a challenge to choose sites such as The North Country Trail known to make even the most experienced hiker sweat.

Route 66

The cold is settling in, and a warm getaway is tempting. A road trip from Chicago to California offers the final promise of warmth, beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife, and some of the best Mexican food in the country. San Diego, in particular, offers all the formerly mentioned traits at a considerably lower price than San Francisco.
