Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Sue Havlovick and my pronouns are she/her. I’m the UC Financial Specialist and I’ve been working here for 17 years now.

What does an average day look like working for the UC? What does your position entail?

I work mostly with the SUFAC Student Organizations by helping them with travel and purchases or transferring the expenses back to their org. Another thing I do is work with all the student budgets to make sure the amount of money SUFAC approved reflects their budget in WISER. I also work with the Greeks and entering quick orders, PIR and PO’s into shop UW+.

What does being a UC employee mean to you?

I feel that I belong to the UC by getting to know everyone that works here and what they do. It helps me help students!

What are some of the most memorable days/moments working for the UC?

One of the most memorable moments I have is bowling in the UC, it creates lots of laughter. I love getting to work with the students and seeing how they grow.

Why should students visit the UC?

Students should visit the UC because it gives them a whole new experience. The UC provides so many experiences for students from the movies to Roberta’s Art Gallery and the Down Under. They have so many opportunities to create connections with other students.

What is one piece of advice you can give to current UW-W students?

Experience everything the campus has to offer. If you don’t try, you don’t know. So, experience it all now and not wish that you did later. AND always do your best!
