Going to SC

One thing I am very excited about moving to South Carolina is the warmer weather and being by the beach. I absolutely despise the cold and I always knew that I wanted to move somewhere where it was warm for the most part, all year round. The second thing that I am most excited about is being by the beach. The sun and beach are my places to be. My boyfriend and I are going to South Carolina in June for his sister’s wedding. We are going to be in Charleston for five days touring the city, touring different apartments, and filling in our days with a lot of exploring.

While we are there my boyfriend and I are there, we are going to tour the first apartment that we thought was perfect for us. As mentioned in my previous blog, it is called Grande Oak Parc Apartments. I am beyond excited to see the number of amazing things that this apartment can offer us. They have a pool, workout center, a coffee bar in the lobby, underground parking, everything we want, and all for a very reasonable price. This is great for all of our needs and wants in an apartment. As we keep looking, we will most likely tour more apartments that are a fit for us. We also plan on going on a lot of adventures and exploring Charleston to get more of a feel for where we will be living. There will be a lot of beach exploring, restaurant exploring, and hopefully check out some golf courses. The restaurants are something we are the most thrilled about. We love our seafood and we could not be more excited to be able to eat fresh seafood. Of course, couldn’t forget about the wedding as well! His sister will be getting married at Sarah Cameron’s house from Outer Banks. I thought that was pretty neat! Can’t wait to share my experience!

  1. Never having been to South Carolina myself, I can’t say I know much about it. But warmer weather, beaches, and seafood already sound much more appealing than what we’ve been getting here in Wisconsin the past couple of months. The apartment complex you mentioned sounds like a dream place. Coffee shop downstairs? Say no more! Sounds like it’ll be a pretty neat experience for both you and your boyfriend.

  2. Living in SC sounds awesome! I am planning on moving out of state also. Don’t get me wrong I love Wisconsin but I am ready to see new things and experience a different way of living. (Without terrible winters.)
