Because it has very similar symptoms to the flu, the prevention measures are quite similar. Below you will find ways to prevent spreading this disease and to prevent yourself from getting it.
1. Wash your hands regularly after touching food, going to the bathroom, common household or everyday items or anything that might look gross or disgusting. Germs are everywhere so it best to prevent them and not have them spread from item to item.
2. Use hand sanitizer after touching everyday items or items you might not come into contact with very often. Make sure the hand sanitizer has at least 60% of alcohol or more in it to get rid of the germs and bacteria. Most hand sanitizers kill 99.9% of bacteria and germs so this will help with being safe rather than sorry.
3. If you have a cough, cough into the bend of your elbow or any other way of covering it and then wash your hands or hand sanitize them if you don’t have access to washing them.
