One of my favorite cars I’ve ever had is actually the one I currently have. I purchased it back in 2017 after discovering it on Craigslist while looking for a new vehicle. Its a 2010 Volkswagen CC R-Line. I bought it just a few years ago and have already put quite a bit of money into modifications for it. Including both performance and comfort modifications.

Features

When this car was released from Volkswagen at the time it was their most luxurious model they had to offer. Including two tone leather seats with a 6.5 inch touch display and 18 inch allow wheels. On top of this the car comes with many other features not included with a normal Volkswagen CC. The R-Line package gives the car a few upgrades. The first one being the sport front and rear bumper as well as flared side skirts and trunk extension. As far as the interior goes, this package offers upgraded speakers along with the touch screen I mentioned earlier. It also offers up 18 inch allow wheels instead of the stock 17 inch wheels that comes from factory

Power Plant

At peak this car boasts 200 horsepower along with 207 pound feet of torque. It producing such power through a standard 2.0 inline four motor. Meaning it’s a four cylinder car, however Volkswagen has fitted it with a turbocharger. Giving it that bit of punch this sporty car needs. It also comes with a 6 speed manual gear box along with an electric emergency break. Along with front wheel drive you can be assured that donuts are not possible.

Because this vehicle is equipped with a turbo there are several things that can be done to upgrade this. The first thing that was done to this car was an air intake was put in. Removing the old intake box, it dramatically increased the air intake as well MPG and power levels. On top of this a standard New South Performance boost gauge was also added. This gives the chance to see exactly how much boost is being made. As well as gives another indicator if something every goes wrong with the turbo or the boost. Because this car is also a 6 speed manual it gives the vehicle a bit more personal of a touch. Anyone who drives a manual knows exactly what I’m talking about, being able to control the RPM’s much easier throughout every gear.
