    College is Coming To An End );

    Hi everyone and welcome back! I wish this was a blog where I was giving helpful tips and ways to encourage you but, it’s not. I am so sad to say I am a senior in college and the best four years of my life are coming to an end. I bet most of you can relate and you are not very happy about this change. I think this really is a larger change than transiting from high school to college. I feel like I am finally fitting into Whitewater and finding the friends of a lifetime and now it is ending. I am really nervous to move back home…

    How to stay busy in quarentine once school ends

    Hi everyone and welcome back! In all honesty this was something that was very difficult for me and was probably for a lot of people. My favorite thing is to stay busy and to always have something to do so when quarantine hits it was very stressful. But, I have some tips to help you stay busy. First, is Netflix. I repeat myself with this but, I love Netflix and it is something I always do when I am bored. Getting invested in shows that you love is something to keep you busy. Over this past year my favorite show was definitely All American. Every night me and my parents…

    How to Be Okay with Resting

    Hi everyone and welcome back! This week is tricky and is something that I don’t think I will ever master. I have grown up with a very fast past life and I never really had time to rest. I am okay with this but it takes over sometimes and I get really stressed. This specific semester I again don’t have a lot of time off. I am always running around either it being work or going into one of my in person classes. The only day I really have off to get a lot of stuff done is Wednesday’s. But, even though I save a lot for Wednesdays this is…

    How To Be Independent In College

    Hi guys and welcome back! Independence is very scary and is something that as much as you think you are ready for it, you really aren’t. All my life I was a very independent person. I started doing my own laundry when I was 10 years old, once I could drive I did pretty much everything myself when it came to things like doctor appointments, running errands, etc. I got a job when I was 15 and have been making my own money since. It was never easy but this is something that my parents have always had really strong beliefs on. Although they are the most supportive and dependent…

    Faking It As You Go; FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT

    Hi guys and welcome back! One thing I have always lived by is faking it as you go. I grew up as a huge competition dancer and this is one quote my dance teachers always used. Personally, faking it as I go always with pain and smiling through pain to make it look easy. Faking it in dance was also always trying to pretend you were okay when you weren’t. Getting yelled at was a big part of every single day and you always had to hold back the tears and smile. As Abby Miller once said “Save your tears for your pillow”. And let me tell you this was…

    Productivity and Self-Care

    Hi everyone and welcome back to this week’s blog on productivity and self-care. I am probably one of the biggest procrastinators you will ever meet, but at least I admit it, right? This is something I have been trying to work on my whole life but it never seems to become easier for me. I like to say to myself that I get my best work done when I am on a time crunch, but I think that is just an excuse. So, this year that is one of my goals to help myself be better. I am nowhere near being perfect at this but I have learned some things…

    Routines: They are Important

    Hi guys and welcome back! If you have been reading my blogs you know one of my favorite things to do is to get into a routine. This week was a prime example for me that routines really do work! So, this weekend I went home for St. Patrick’s Day and didn’t come back to school till Monday night. This is where I all went wrong, I wish I came back Sunday night. First off, I didn’t have all my laundry done by Monday so this threw me off. Next, I didn’t have my planner set up for the week so Monday and Tuesday I was discombobulated with everything that…

    How to Reset

    Hi everyone and welcome back! I am so glad you guys are here for some more little inspiration from myself! I feel like a broken record and I will probably for the rest of the semester but these are things that I truly believe in and these are things that have helped me get through the good, the bad, and the ugly. So, this week we are going to be talking about how to reset. We all have those weeks, days, or even hours of the day where we just don’t feel right and we are all off balance from our normal daily routine. For me personally, I usually feel…

    How To Love Yourself

    Hi guys and welcome back! On this week’s blog I will be talking about how to love yourself. I am not one to have this down pat and to be honest I don’t think anyone in this world will actually love themselves truly and fully. Even the most “confident” people who PREACH about self love will never love everything about themselves even if they say they do. But, there is always somewhere to start to learn more about your true self and how to learn to love your beliefs and morals. There are so many things you can do to better yourself and learn to love yourself more. To start…

    How To Destress During Online Schooling

    Hi guys and welcome back! This week I want to talk about de stressing. Online school has really taken a turn for all of us and sometimes we get stressed out from all the change and work. This is totally normal, especially if you hate online classes. But, from watching YouTube videos and trial and error I have found some good remedies to help destress yourself. I have tried some and sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t. First, I would like to start with water. This is key! Keeping yourself hydrated not only helps your skin but it also helps your mind. It keeps you balanced and energized throughout…
