Love’s Labour’s Lost

And of course, one has to take into consideration the seating.  I discovered that I hadn’t allowed enough clearance for the first row on house left and things had to shift accordingly.  This version also has the forest green fabric upstage and the sepia-motized botanical prints.  The surfaces of the discs will NOT be carpeted — they’ll be painted with color and texture similar to what is in the image, with stylized leaf borders around their perimeters.

Construction on “Spirits to Enforce” continues.  The rusted sheathing and I-Beam ribs are up.  The students on the ladders are working on the conning tower.  Scenic design by student Keenan Minogue.  Tech Director, Steve Chene.

Lov’es Labour’s Lost

Continued progress on Love’s Labour’s Lost.   The stream, which has become a still pool, has been added, and we’re approaching a good placement of botanical prints — I’m sure there will be tweaking.  The next step will be to select painted garden images from the 1880’s — most likely Impressionist work — for the upstage panels.
