Steel Panther’s New Song is a Great Laugh

Steel Panther announced that they have been forced to postpone their “Gobblefest” live stream show that was occurring this weekend, and subsequently released a new song along with the announcement. The song, titled “Fuck 2020” pretty much sums up how everyone feels about this year.

Steel Panther, who are known for their humorous and profane lyrics, were prohibited from staging their live stream show due to local public health restrictions and the event has to be rescheduled. 

“This year has been fucking tough on everyone. We were excited to hang with you all at ‘Gobblefest’ this weekend and hopefully have some laughs, but COVID has other plans for us,” said Steel Panther. “We hope you enjoy the new song in the meantime. It has become an anthem for the band – and not just because we wrote it. Please join us in telling 2020 to suck our collective dick.”

The song gave me quite a laugh as the lyrics are very straightforward. As a warning, it is very profane. I’ll let the song speak for itself though, and you can listen to it down below.
