Light plot for over stage for Milwaukee Chamber Theatre’s production of “A Thousand Clowns.”   The front of house and paperwork will be going out first thing Monday morning.   It’s pretty packed over the stage, but it always feels like something is missing. . .

Starting in on the paint elevations for “Music in the Air.”  That’s stage right on the drafting table.

Light plot for “Neat.”  This is a remount of the Renaissance Theaterworks production (originally performed in January, 2012).  Marti Gobels will reprise her role as Charlayne Harris.  It will be performed at the Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan the week of July 8th.   The light plot, is, of course, a revision of the original, just — rounder.

Drafted elevations for “Music in the Air.”  Not shown are the 4 rolling towers.  A final touch will be changing the tops of the flip panels to be a little more architectural — gables, clock tower, that sort of thing.

“Music in the Air” Sketchup rough sketch with some revisions to the stair cases.   Flats shown will eventually have cutout edges;  this drawing is primarily to give the director a sense of the spatial relationships going on.

Quick and dirty Google SketchUp model for “Music in the Air.”  The director and I have been discussing the stair/balcony/door combo seen stage right.  The stage left stair arrangment is a possible alternative.  The upstage vertical panels flip 180 to reveal a different paint treatment.  There’s no backstage, just a crossover behind the wall, and the two large polygonal structures right and left are the green room and equipment room.  There is no fly space, either — after all, we’re doing this in a tent. . .

Groundplan for “Music in the Air,” at Lake Geneva’s Music by the Lake.  A couple tweaks to come, but this is pretty close to where we’re heading.
