It’s hard to believe – it feels just like yesterday that we started the Andersen Library Blog. In reality, we’re about to begin our fourth year of writing about library happenings and other crazy things. This week’s featured title explains where the phenomenon of ‘getting your thoughts out there’ all began.

Rosenberg, co-founder and longtime managing editor of Salon.com, profiles one of the major innovations that have given people the power to let their voice be heard — blogging. He describes how the blogosphere began and subsequently skyrocketed in popularity, interviewing important people like the Blogger creator, Evan Williams, and other bloggers that were ahead of the curve. Blogs have developed into forces to be reckoned with, and the author demonstrates that the medium is here to stay.

About kyle

I'm the library guy. No, seriously, I'm the only male reference & instruction librarian. I also have the pleasure of serving several campus committees, the Academic Staff Assembly and the Chancellor's Task Force on LGBT Issues, among others.
