UW System Administration is pleased to announce the open position of Academic Planner for Student Affairs. This full-time Academic Staff position will develop, manage and maintain policies and programs in the area of student development and student affairs for the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
This position will include a range of responsibilities, such as leadership, direction and coordination of System-wide policies, programs and initiatives on student conduct and discipline and compliance with the Title IX program and Child Care. The Academic Planner works with and advises student representatives from each institution in the UW System and the United Council of Wisconsin Students while providing support for Chief Student Affairs Officers on System-wide issues, programs and policies.
Qualified applicants will have a minimum five years’ experience and hold a Master’s Degree; terminal degree holders are encouraged to apply. Relevant fields of study may include Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel, Counseling, Educational or Public policy, or other closely related fields. In addition to the minimum qualifications and experience, candidates may be considered for the Senior-prefix title if they have had progressive and high level oversight responsibility for a breadth of student affairs program areas and at least seven years of relevant experience.
