Children’s Atypical Gender Behavior

Here’s a great article from one of the task force members on the gender variance in children.

The article from the American Psychological Association details the history of research on gender variance, as well as work that’s being done at the Children’s National Medical Center (CNMC) in Washington, DC. The CNMC has a program that deals with the topic, the Gender and Sexuality Development Program, which features brochures and other resources to assist children and families with understanding the issues surrounding gender expression in the early stages of development.
