What is the main purpose of your organization?
“The main purpose of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), is to enhance the knowledge of members by providing individuals with the opportunity to gain practical experience in the application of public relations as a profession.”
How often does your organization meet? What are your meetings like or about?
“We meet every other Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. (Hyland Hall 1303 and Webex option)”
What is the benefit of your organization?
“The benefit of PRSSA is the realistic application of public relations that is expanded on outside of the classroom and provided to students. We provide members with guest speakers, interactive workshops, and agency tours in cities such as Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison.”
What made you join your organization?
“I joined PRSSA to network with other students in the PR field as well as gain valuable experience outside the classroom.”

I think college is all about joining club and organizations that are in your field to help you gain a lot of valuable lessons. You are doing a great job informing everyone about all the opportunities they have that they probably didn’t know about! Thank you.
