Posted on July 3, 2012 by Aaron Axelsen

Outage Report from Learn@UW:
Time frame: ~9:50a – 10:14a
Impact: Users may have experienced slow performance or erratic behavior. We are continuing to receive reports of intermittent slow performance, which may indicate a recurrence of this issue. Users affected by the issue will experience relatively brief periods (~3-5 minutes) of slow performance after which reattempts of the desired action function as expected.
Cause: Learn@UW is working closely with D2L to investigate and identify the underlying cause of the issue. This is top priority issue and D2L.
Resolution: N/A
Next steps: Continued investigation into root cause.

Update 10:46 AM (CDT) – Technologists have resolved the issue at this time and the service should be responding normally.

Starting at approximately 8:00 AM on Tuesday, July 3rd, we are noticing sporadic reports of slowness and 2-3 minute periods where the system may hang.  The issues has been reported to Learn@UW and will be updating this news item with more information as we receive it. Thank you for your patience.
