Many of you only know me in the scope of this class. In reality, this class is for my minor, and my main course of study is programming; more specifically, the programming of video games. This may not come as a shock, as I dedicated this blog as a means of discussing video games. With this in mind, I felt like showing you some of the games I’ve made would be a good way to sign off this blog with a personal touch. Who knows, maybe you’ll try them out and end up liking them.
As I’m sure you can tell, Cyberpunk is a title I’m borderline obsessed with playing. The constant delays that surround this game definitely don’t help my anticipation of the release of this game. My intentions for this post had to be adjusted due to the most recent delay of the game, but we will discuss that later. Here is the delay history and my latest feeling about the game and all that it entails.
Before you write this post off, and I’m talking to the PC and PS system gamers, remember that you guys have exclusive games that kind of make the Xbox Game Pass obsolete. That being said, for the low price of ten bucks a month, you will have access to hundreds of games available to play. This isn’t to say that all two hundred are good games, in fact, there are more bad games in this pass than there are good. But, that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few gems offered through this deal. While there are many more good games offered through the Game Pass than just the few I mention, here are my top five Xbox Game Pass titles!
With the ever growing popularity of being socially connected via mobile devices such as smartphones, mobile games have become increasingly popular. Initially, mobile games were simple and rarely played by those who owned them. These ranged from Snake to Solitaire. However, as the demand for smartphones grew, so did the market for mobile video games. There have been countless blockbuster games, most of which didn’t make this list. This post is to give credit to the games that I personally enjoyed most as I grew up. I even play some of them today, maybe you do too!
Have you ever gone window shopping? If you haven’t, the basic gist of window shopping is to look without actually buying anything. This is similar to what I’ve been doing with a couple of games that are scheduled to release in the near future. Although, when I can finally get my hands on these titles, any aspect of window shopping will be thrown out the window as I indulge in some of the best games that 2020-2021 has to offer. Here are the games that I have been looking forward to playing most, and if you’re interested, when you’ll be able to try them out for yourself.
Halloween is around the corner, literally, and I felt it would be a great time to share some of the scariest games I have ever played. People may think that the best way to catch the thrill of fear is to get it by skydiving, bungee jumping, or watching a horror movie with all of the lights turned off. What if I told you some of the best scares the world only require you to play a game? In this list there will be some oldies in the mix, but don’t let their age fool you, they have the potential to be just as scary as the rest. Here are the spookiest games to date!
