The Packers traveled down south for the first time this season to face the New Orleans Saints. The game was during primetime, Sunday night with a crowd of just 750 that included Saints’ player’s family members. It’s only the third game of the season for the Packers but it’s most definitely their toughest matchup so far.
Aaron Rodgers had yet another great game having 21 completions for 283 yards and 3 touchdowns. Drew Brees also had a great performance for the Saints having 29 completions for 288 yards and 3 touchdowns. The difference-maker for the Packers victory was the running game. Aaron Jones outdueled Alvin Kamara having more yards and a touchdown which was the key in the Packers 37-30 victory.
The top Fantasy performers for the Packers were Allen Lazard who had 6 catches for 146 yards and a touchdown, awarding him 28.4 fantasy points for the night. Aaron Rodgers had another great fantasy performance with the stats I stated above awarded him 33.2 points, his second highest of the season out of our three games. Aaron Jones with his one touchdown performance got him a solid 16.6 to contribute to the win.
