Pack Gets Easy Win

The Packers played the San Francisco 49ers this past Thursday night and they dominated. A lot of players on both teams were out of the game due to COVID tracing or positive tests. The 49ers lost all of their starting receivers either due to injury or COVID and the Packers lost their 2nd and 3rd string running backs but we got Aaron Jones back from injury. Richie James stepped up for the 49ers receiving but at the end of the day the 9ers couldn’t stop the Rodgers and Adams connection, as well as Marquez Valdes-Scantling finally stepping up.

Aaron Rodgers had another great game finishing with 25 completions on 31 attempts for 305 yards and 4 touchdowns. A great performance good for 45.7 fantasy points.

Davante Adams finished with 10 catches for 173 yards and a touchdown giving him 35.3 fantasy points, that’s now 3 great performances in a row despite last weeks loss.

And then there’s Marquez Valdes-Scantling who finally decided to step up catching 2 passes for 2 touchdowns and 53 yards.

So, the Packers bounce back from an embarrassing loss but we do it against the underhanded 49ers but that’s how the game goes. You gotta get your wins when it’s easy. And with the Packers playing the Jaguars at home next week I expect another easy victory.

  1. This was a great win after that lose against the bucs. It’s great to see Rodger’s back to himself not missing throws. The blocking was much better too this time around.

  2. Aaron Rodgers blessed my fantasy team this week and played a huge factor on why I won for this week. I totally thought it would have been a way closer game for the classic Brady – Rodgers matchup but it was darn near a blow out.
