4-0 For The Pack

Back in Lambeau Field for Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons. The second home game of the season. No fans on Monday Night Football. The Packers had another great game. They haven’t lost any steam even with Davante Adams sitting this one out while dealing with a hamstring injury. The Packers have put up at least 30 points in each of the four games so far this year. In Week 5 they have their bye week which should allow Davante Adams to come back fully healthy and be ready for action in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their first Sunday afternoon game of the season.

The star for the Pack against the Atlanta Falcons was tight end, Robert Tonyan. This dude can ball out. He had a touchdown each game in weeks 2 and 3 and then he just felt like doing something few others have done: Get 3 receiving touchdowns in one game. He had himself a career game as well as racking up 33.8 fantasy points on 6 catches for 98 yards and 3 touchdowns. At this rate with at least 1 touchdown in the previous three games he could very well be locked into a starting tight end for fantasy managers.

Other fantasy performers for the Packers were Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Jones obviously with Davante out. Rodgers put up another stellar stat line with 327 yards and 4 touchdowns against the awful Falcons defensive. This performance awarded him 42.5 fantasy points. Aaron Jones had another great performance as well, having 15 rushing attempts for 71 yards as well as hauling in 5 passes for 40 yards and a touchdown. His performance awarded him 22.1 points.

Next week the Packers have their bye week as they prepare for their Week 5 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hopefully this time off will allow Davante Adams to get himself fully healthy. And with the Packers have their bye week next week, my next blog post will be talking about that weeks top fantasy performers and any impactful injuries that may happen. (Hopefully no one gets injured)

  1. Hello,
I was actually just at Lambeau Field this weekend for a wedding! We did the hall of fame tour and it was so cool to see all the Packers history and all of the accomplishments they have achieved. I dont really know much about football but this post helped me understand that game that I watched. It also helped me understand how fantasy football works with points and such. Its very cool how you can compete against your friends while also watching games that you love!

  2. The Pack really man handled the falcons especially the falcons offense holding Calvin Ridley to a zero stat line across the board. However, that really hurt my fantasy team lol.
