START EM OR SIT EM? WEEK 7 EDITON

Quarterbacks

Start Em

Aaron Rodgers GB vs @HOU

Usually I don’t write about must-start players because well they are a must start. However, people will panic over the Tampa bay game where he only got 3.8 points. He will bounce back this week against Houston. He is still a must start QB and will stay that way.

Sit Em

Gardner Minshew @LAC

Minshew had pretty much had a soft schedule so far in terms of fantasy. This changes this week with the Los Angeles Chargers and their defense. Now the Chargers defense is still above average they had two challenging games in a row, which deflates their states but don’t let that fool you. Minshew will struggle against this defense, even with the high volume he produces. That will leave a lot of opportunities for the chargers. I would sit Minshew this week.

Runningbacks

Start Em

D’Andre Swift DET vs @ATL

Swift went off against Jacksonville last week and is finally breaking away from the dreading RB committee in Detroit out snapping the veteran Adrian Peterson. He should see a lot of work this week going against Atlanta and their weak defense. This game will be a shoot out meaning swift will once again see most of the snaps, and it looks like he is taking work from Peterson in the ground game too, which is a great sign to see. He is a solid RB 2 with high RB 1 upside this week.

Sit Em

Josh Jacobs LV vs TB

Jacobs has been more of a disappointment this year, with only two games above 20 points. The rest are more what you would expect from an RB 3. He went against a tough front seven in Kansas City and only got big numbers with his two rushing touchdowns. Do not expect the same this week against another tough matchup in Tampa Bay. What worries me the most is Jacobs only got 77 yards on 21 carries, and the longest run he had was a mere 7 yards. The Tampa Bay’s front, in my opinion, is better than Kansas City’s, meaning it will be a brutal week for Jacobs.

Wide Receivers

Start Em

DJ Moore CAR vs @NO

Moore is coming off of two straight good fantasy games with 186 yards and one touchdown. He has a soft matchup against the Saints defense. What matters here is that Moore was targeted last game 11 times! Bridgewater likes him, and that means he will see a lot of work. Moore is a WR 1 this week.

Sit Em

John Brown BUF vs @NYJ

Brown Has not had a good game since week two against Miami. Even though it’s a soft matchup against the New York Jets, you cant trust him. He does see vertical looks most games, but it’s too risky and spotty to start him, especially off a game where he had no catches.

Tight Ends

Start Em

T.J. Hockenson DET vs @ATL

It’s clear that T.J. is in the RedZone plan for Detroit with three touchdowns alre3ady this year. The targets are not always there, but the matchup this week is very favorable for T.J. as Atlanta allows the second-most fantasy points to tight ends this year. He is an excellent streaming option this week.

Sit Em

Noah Fant DEN vs KC

I like Fant, you should keep him stashed on your roster, but I don’t like the matchup against Kansas city especially coming off an injury. Kansas City is very proficient in locking down tight ends, only allowing them 10.5 fantasy points per game.

Defense

Start Em

BIlls BUF vs @NYJ

The Buffalo defense should come back strong with this soft matchup as defenses that go against the Jets have the average high of 11.8 points this season. The defense should be back to the usual selves that we expect from the Bills. They are a great streaming option this week.

Sit Em

Packers GB vs @HOU

The Green Bay defense got exposed last week against Tampa Bay. Houston is not the most efficient offensive team, but they have enough that you can not trust the green Bay defense after them not getting any sacks or turnovers in the last game. They are slowly becoming a defense that is unplayable in any matchup.
