START EM OR SIT EM? WEEK twelve EDITON

Quarterbacks

Start Em

Derek Carr LV vs ATL

Carr should be in for a good game this weekend after a strong showing against the god defense of Kansas City. The raiders are still in the race for a playoff spot, so they will play hard and aggressively. Carr has also thrown multiple touchdowns except for three games this year, which is an excellent stat line while looking at who he will face this week.

Sit Em

Lamar Jackson BAL vs @PIT

As I am typing this right now, Jackson is reported to have covid. Even if he does play and the game does not get postponed further, or just a forfeit, sit him. I can not believe I am saying this, but he has been struggling this year to produce in fantasy. With a good defense facing him this week, he has not shown enough to be a must-start. If you need a win right now or need a streamer, I like Jared Goff and Daniel Jones.

Runningbacks

Start Em

Raheem Mostert SF vs LAR

Mostert is back this week to a mess of a backfield. However, it will get cleaned up this weekend as he should get most of the workload because the backfield was just that bad without him. Hence, if you are worried about him not seeing enough work, don’t be. He is a solid number two this weekend.

Gordon had a great game against Miami last weekend, but he will come back down to earth against a revived Saints defense that has shown no mercy the previous two games. This matchup is not looking good for him. I would bench him.

Wide Receivers

Start Em

Allen Robinson CHI vs @GB

Robinson has averaged 6.5 receptions in the last three games. Put that against the Packers, and you will have a very productive day. The Packers can not constantly shut down offenses for long, as last weekend showed us. Robinson has the potential to match or go above his spectacular outing against the Falcons in week three this week.

Sit Em

Travis Fulgham PHI vs SEA
Eagles’ Travis Fulgham (13) makes a grab against the Giants in Philadelphia, Pa. on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020. Jl Eagles Giants 102220 04

Travis has a good matchup this week, but this is where the offense as a whole is worse than the lousy defense. Wentz is trying too hard to carry the corpse that is the eagles on his back, and it is hurting them even more. If Travis does see targets, it will be short passes and nothing to note fantasy-wise.

Tight Ends

Start Em

Dallas Goedert PHI vs. SEA

The one person on the Eagles who benefits with bad play the most would be Goedert as Wentz will check it down to him, and giving Goedert more looks like no other person will be open or Wentz needs to get rid of the ball since the offensive Lineman cant block. Goedert is a safe option, even with the bad play around him.

Sit Em

Jordan Reed SF vs @LAR

San Francisco’s passing offense is arguable worse than the Eagles. It’s so bad I can not recommend starting the guy who had the most targets last time they played. Especially that all the teams are scheduled to play this week, there are many safer and more reasonable plays.
