Warhawk Baseball Splits Double Header with UW-Stevens Point

Warhawk baseball played their first home game of the season at Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium. They took on UW-Stevens Point in a double header. The Warhawks struggled offensively in the first game and lost 0-4. In the second game, the Warhawks shut out UW-Stevens Point and got the win 2-0. Cade Berendt was credited with the win. UW-Stevens Point was held to just three hits in the second game, while UW-Whitewater had seven. 

The Warhawk Baseball team will be back in action on Sunday, where they’ll take on the UW-Oshkosh Titans in a double header.

Softball

The UW-Whitewater Softball team will suit up on Saturday to take on Illinois College at 5:15 pm in Bloomington, IL to kick off the Illinois Wesleyan Tournament. The Warhawks are scheduled to play Illinois College on Saturday and Illinois Wesleyan and Illinis College on Sunday.

After the tournament, the Warhawks will travel to Platteville to take on the UW-Platteville Pioneers in a double header on Wednesday.
