Baseball Picks Up Three Wins Over the Weekend

The UW-Whitewater baseball team played four games against the UW-Oshkosh Titans this week. They played their first two games on Sunday. In the first game, the Warhawks won 3-0 and Westin Muir got the win. In the second game of the day, UW-Whitewater picked up another win 6-3. On Monday the Warhawks played their second double header against the Titans. In the first game of the day the Warhawks got the win 8-6. In the second game, the Titans got the win 9-0. The Warhawks will take the field again on Monday where they’ll face UW-Eau Claire in Eau Claire. 

Softball

The Warhawks softball team competed in the Illinois Wesleyan Tournament last weekend. They won one of three games at the tournament, losing to Illinois Wesleyan and splitting a two game series against Illinois College. They then went to Platteville on Wednesday to take on the Pioneers. The Warhawks split the series against Platteville. In the first game they lost 6-14 and won the second game 13-1. The Warhawks come home on Saturday to take on UW-River Falls in a double header.
