STRESS
Well Warhawks, its crunch time. It’s that crazy time just after Thanksgiving break and just before Christmas break where there are deadlines after deadlines. It is really important to find a way to not get overwhelmed by school! Here are some tips that I found to be helpful when trying to be stress free!
- Meditation
Meditation is a simple and effective way to loose some of that extra stress. One thing I like to do in particular is to go through guided meditations through YouTube. There are free ones on there and they all vary in length.
2. Group Fitness Classes
Exercise! Our Group Fitness Classes in the Williams Center are a great and fun way to to break up your day. We offer variety of classes such as Cycling, Core 360, PiYo and many more. If you are also looking for a calmer way to get rid of your stress our Group Fitness offers yoga and meditation. These classes are a great way to forget about your worries and to improve yourself through mind, body and spirit.
3. Essential Oils and Candles
Scents are a great way to help you relax. Having a diffuser or a candle lit in your room or just in your home can add a calming presence. A few scents that I recommend are a lavender, lemon and a peppermint scent. These scents give a sense of calmness and relaxation
