The iCIT sponsored Technology Open House will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., on Thursday, August 26 at the University Center. University staff and faculty are invited to attend the event to learn about new technologies developed and showcased by iCIT, and to get hands on practice on new systems.
The theme “Make IT Possible!” reflects the ability for technology to enable fast, more efficient and more accurate processes for day-to-day workflow. Attendees will be able to accomplish a number of IT tasks right at the event:
- Upload a syllabus
- Opt in for Ironport spam management
- Enroll in a workshop
- Schedule an event
- Post a blog
- And more!
Break-out sessions will include full demos on Google Docs, Excel, Second Life, and the HP Self Service system.
