Longtime ICIT employee, and UW-Whitewater Alumna, Theresa Parker has announced her plans to retire. Her last day with the University will be Friday, October 16th.
Theresa first started with UW-Whitewater’s IT department in 1981 as a student employee. After graduating in January of 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in Management in Computer Systems, she was hired on full-time. Over the years Theresa progressed through multiple developer and project management roles within the department. In 2003, during the management transition, Theresa accepted the responsibilities for leading the AIS team, and worked tirelessly to bring in additional expertise and to improve the quality of work of the team members. In recent years, Theresa took on many complex projects such as the College of Education Licensure Tracking and Admissions Application. She has also played a pivotal role in PeopleSoft/WINS upgrades.
