Classroom Technology Technician
A new position in the AV Team has been posted on the UW-Whitewater job bulletin, and iCIT is actively recruiting applicants. This position is a 50% LTE position to support the audio-visual and other equipment in classrooms and instructional facilities at UW-Whitewater. The person in this position will participate in troubleshooting and maintenance of classroom technical equipment and will assist with classroom remodeling and upgrade projects funded by grants and the academic colleges. The position reports to Sara Deschner, Assistant Director of Instructional Facilities.
Applicants should have demonstrated experience in working with current AV equipment including data projectors, sound systems, and other peripherals, and their interface to computers and networked systems. TSC Coordinator
Reporting to the Technology Support Center Manager, this position assists in managing day-to-day operation of the iCIT Technology Helpdesk, helping customers in the use of University-supported technology and coordinating technology training for IT student employees.
