Welcome Lisa Beck

Please welcome our newest team member, technology purchasing agent Lisa Beck. Lisa will work with vendors and be responsible for hardware and software purchasing.

Prior to joining ICIT, Lisa worked for the State of Wisconsin Facilities Management as a contracts specialist, and she has extensive experience managing accounts and contracts for both state-owned and private entities. Lisa’s first day with ICIT was August 24^th. Welcome to the team Lisa!

Project Management Lunch & Learn: 8/19

Curious about the 100% rule? Do you know what WBS stands for? In the next project management lunch and learn, the topic will be work breakdown structures including easy ways to identify all of the work needed to complete project. Join the group and bring your lunch to MG1 on August 19. These sessions are optional.

Project Management Lunch & Learn

Want to get better at using the Eclipse Project Portfolio Management System? Then grab your lunch and head over to McGraw 1 to participate in the next Project Management Lunch & Learn, hosted by ICIT’s project management guru, Stacy Scholtka.

At the first Project Management Lunch & Learn, several Eclipse PPM functions were reviewed, including how to do advanced searches, how to add tasks to projects, and using the PPM time sheet view, along with other topics such as what is reviewed each week at the Management Team meeting.

The next Project Management Lunch & Learn will be on August 5, from 12:00 –12:45 in MG 1, and will be similar to the last meeting, for anyone who was unable to attend. The meetings are optional. but are a great opportunity to get your Eclipse PPM questions answered.

Welcome Aaron Duoss

ICIT, please welcome the newest member of our team, A/V technician Aaron Duoss. His first day on campus was Monday, July 20^th. Aaron will work closely with Kelly Ingram to design, install, and support campus A/V systems.

Aaron has a degree in electronics and audio visuals from the Madison Media Institute, and he comes to ICIT from Fearing’s Audio Video Security; a private company specializing in alarm systems, video surveillance, A/V systems, and structured cabling. Welcome to UW-Whitewater Aaron!
