Welcome Kevin Holland!

ICIT, please welcome our newest team member, Tier 2 Desktop Support Technician Kevin Holland. Kevin brings several years of troubleshooting experience to our team. Prior to joining ICIT, he was a technical support specialist for a large Milwaukee-based insurance company. He also worked as a desktop support technician for a community college in the Chicago suburbs. (Sorry folks, he’s a Bears fan.)

Kevin will work in conjunction with the Technology Support Center to troubleshoot and resolve technology issues. Kevin’s first day was Monday, December 14. Welcome to the team Kevin!

Welcome Steve Doll!

ICIT, please give a warm welcome to our newest team member, Steve Doll. Steve comes to us from an IT consulting firm in Madison, where he held multiple positions. He brings nearly two decades  of IT-related experience to UW-Whitewater.

As ICIT’s Network Operations Specialist, Steve is responsible for deployment and day-to-day maintenance of event management and monitoring tools. Steve’s first day was Monday, November 30. Welcome to the team!

Calling All Developers

Know a good developer experienced in Oracle/PeopleSoft toolset or other programming languages such as .Net or JAVA? Well, then we’ve got the perfect job for them! The AIS team is seeking   TWO enthusiastic individuals to work with our Oracle Campus Solutions enterprise system in the area of applications development. These individuals will help customers by designing, building, deploying and supporting applications.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis and design for campus applications and major enhancements
  • Develop project plans that include tasks to be performed, task estimates, and targeted completion dates. Provide project status feedback to customers and ICIT management
  • Code, test, and debug (or direct the coding, testing, debugging of) complex computer programs and procedures in compliance with standards using advanced techniques and appropriate languages.
  • Consult with functional area experts to study business problems and define business process requirements
