ICIT is thrilled to welcome its newest member, Urmi Roy.  Urmi will be working on the AIS team as a Strategic Project Manager.  She is coming to us from the Department of Transportation in Madison, WI.  Urmi has more than 19 years’ experience in Application Development, ERP Implementations, IT Operations and Product and Project Management.

She has specific experience in mobile technology, web services and back-end application infrastructure.  One of her most impressive achievements includes pioneering EAI/ERP migration of WisDOT’s largest financial application that oversees all state road projects with $2 billion revenue per year with PeopleSoft Financials.

Her duties with ICIT will be to manage projects and programs through cross-functional systems and platforms.  She will work closely and collaborate with several ICIT teams.

She currently lives in Sun Prairie, WI with her husband and two sons. She is passionate about cooking, especially Thai, Italian and Indian cuisines.  Please take some time to say hello and welcome her to the ICIT family.

We are throwing a Going Away party for Dawn Brockwell and Tina Suiter-Meyers on Friday, August 4th at 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm in Andersen Library 1007. Feel free to stop by at your convenience. Light refreshments will be provided.

There is a card available to sign in L2007 at the main desk. Feel free to come sign before Noon August 4th.

Dawn will be retiring with her official last day of August 4th. She has been working on the ICIT team since September of 2011. Dawn has been an integral part of the ICIT team, and will be missed. Thank you for your hard work and continued efforts in supporting ICIT. Have a happy, and relaxing retirement!

Please welcome ICIT’s new Linux System Engineer, Tony Diller. Tony’s first day was Tuesday, July 25th. He previously worked as a System Administrator for Experian out of Schaumburg, IL. His duties included: monthly OS patching for Windows and Linux, application implementation, and identifying and fixing single points of failure.

Tony currently lives in Marengo, IL. He has a wife, two kids, and two grandchildren. In his free time, he loves to ride his motorcycle, go camping, travel the world, and has recently taken up leatherworking.

Some fun facts about Tony: he has been to two Worlds Fairs, has completed a “Saddle Sore 1000” motorcycle ride, and has crossed the equator 6 times! Please take some time to welcome him to the ICIT family.
