Please take some time to congratulate Morgan the next time you see her!

Welcome Jenny Ahrens!

Please welcome Jenny Ahrens as the new Operations Program Associate with the ICIT Team. Jenny will be taking over HR duties as well as additional administrative responsibilities. Jenny’s first day was September 10th.

Jenny has a unique background as she previously worked in Illinois as a kindergarten teacher for 15 years. When she moved to Wisconsin with her family she decided that is was time for a new adventure!

Jenny lives with her husband in Lake Geneva and has two daughters (Rachel and Ashley) currently attending college at UW-Milwaukee and UW-Whitewater. In her free time, Jenny loves playing soccer and volleyball. She also enjoys traveling with her family and hopes to make Europe the next destination this summer.

Please take some time to stop by and welcome Jenny to the ICIT Team!

Please take some time to welcome Lauren to UW-Whitewater and to ICIT!

Thank You Kathy Seidel!

As most, if not all of you know, Kathy Seidel left ICIT last week accepting a position with a hiring firm under Foxconn. Kathy will be the second in command for hiring, which plans to range in the thousands in the next several years. As Kathy mentioned, this was an unexpected but amazing opportunity that she simply could not pass up.

Kathy started her work with ICIT in 2016 as a student employee and quickly worked her way to a full-time position in the CIO Office. More recently she took over HR responsibilities and has been playing a major role in the Involvio Project. Kathy will continue to work with ICIT on a limited basis (5 hours/week) until Involvio is rolled out.

Thank you to everyone who donated money for Kathy’s going-away gift. She absolutely loved it and was thankful for the party as well. If you have not yet, please wish Kathy good luck on her new adventure, she will be missed.

Welcome Anthony Keisler!

Please welcome our new Desktop Support Technician, Anthony Keisler to the ICIT team. Anthony’s first day was July 16th, and we are excited and happy to have him join us.

Anthony comes to us from UW-Parkside where his major responsibilities included support request management, computer imaging, scheduling and deployment, and software installation and service. He was also a Gold Certified Repair Agent for Geek Squad where he diagnosed and repaired infected and malfunctioning macOS and Windows computers.

Anthony is from the Pell Lake area in Wisconsin and enjoys biking, swimming, and playing video games. In the fall, you will find him sporting his blaze orange in a tree stand as he tries to bag a 20-point buck!

Please take some time to welcome Anthony to UW-Whitewater and the ICIT team!
