I personally do not think Black Friday shopping is really worth it, unless you’re really looking for something specific. If you’re just going for the heck of it, you’re more likely to spend and buy things you really didn’t need. Your rationale for buying it was “it was an amazing deal!” Now there’s a chance that the deal could be amazing, but sometimes they really aren’t. Store can jack up the original price so their deals seem more extreme.

It is also unfair to retail workers that are required to work those crazy hours. Most big box brand stores are open on Thanksgiving so that means workers can’t be with their families. That is why I support stores that no longer participate in Black Friday to allow their employees the day off to be with loved ones.
