Press Releases

As a public relations student, a large part of what I was learning was how to effectively write a press release. In one of my classes, I wrote a lot of press releases for a nonprofit organization that I used as my mock client for the semester.

Through learning how to write a press release and news released, I’ve realized how important it is to be concise with my words and get information across effectively. Writing is something that I really enjoy and have really improved in my skills over the course of my education.

The attached news release is for my mock client about the important of outreach to children in third world countries. The motive of the release was to implement the idea of coloring book sales to help support those struggling in third world countries.
