The LGBT Task Force held its monthly meeting on Thursday, October 10, 2013, and here are a few of the upcoming events:
- Boxes and Walls: The Oppression Experience -created and hosted by Res Life – Students, Faculty, and Staff are welcome to experience an interactive diversity to give a glimpse of what life is like for someone else at Esker October 14-17, from 6:00pm-10:00pm
- It Gets Better! – sponsored by the Young Auditorium and Campus Diversity Forum on Thursday, November 7
- Transgender Identities and Issues presented by Mara Kiesling, Executive Director of the National Center for Transgender Equality speaks on Thursday, November 14 at 11:00am in the Warhawk Connection Center

Hello Task Force,
My name is Oscar Rozo, I am the new priest in charge at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and College Chaplain at the LECM (Lutheran-Episcopal College Ministry) Whitewater. I am interested on the work that the community is doing on welcoming and creating safe environments for LGBT members and LGBT supporters/allies. I would love to participate in any events/meetings happening in Whitewater and would be happy to open the doors of my church for meetings.
