Dorthea is a princess that is being forced to marry prince Kato. Out of pure rage, she casts a wish that changes the whole course of her life. Her parents do not exist, Kato is a wolf, etc. With the help of Kato and one of the castles’ maids, they must find the Wizard of Oz to reverse this wish.

Based on the cover, I was really hoping to like this book. I was hoping to like this book based on the description on the back of the book. I was really hoping to like this book because I really like re-doing classic fairy tail stories. But unfortunately, I did not like this book at all. I was so bored. I got half way through this book and I just could not do it. It was too angsty. It was boring. I would recommend this book for any pre-teens who are trying to get into reading, or any fans of Wizard of Oz. This is a series that consists of 3 books that unfortunately was not for me.
