From November 2nd – December 23rd, the Fireside is hosting Miracle on 34th Street: The Musical. It’s a Christmas tale that is inspirational will get you in the spirit for the holidays that are just around the corner. The play is also based off a Christmas movie, so if your significant other is obsessed with Christmas, this is a great idea to surprise them with to see.
Now, the Fireside is a lot more expensive than the Young Auditorium because it comes with dinner, but the great thing is, is that they do offer many selections for what days and times you can attend the play. That means you’re able to see it on a Tuesday at 1:00 in the afternoon, or see it on a Saturday at 1:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. It also gives you a menu as to what is going to be served as the appetizer, entrée and dessert! Each meal for each play that is presented at the Fireside has its own theme to it. For example, for dessert they are having red velvet cake with gingerbread ice cream to celebrate the idea of Christmas.
The Fireside is in Fort Atkinson which is not too bad of a drive from Whitewater. The longest it would take to go would be 25 minutes’ tops. The theater is a very classy place with many gift shops and great acting. I have gone there myself and was very impressed. Going on a date to The Fireside would be something you can put in the books for sure.
