Chocolate Lasagna

Chocolate Lasagna

As you can already probably tell on my blog, I love bits of chocolate during the day. When my roommates were talking about our favorite desserts, Rachel brought up chocolate lasagna. I’ve had it before and wanted to make it again that day. This is

Magic Cookie Bars

Magic Cookie Bars

One of my favorite desserts of all time because of my fantastic Dad, magic cookie bars! A blend of buttery graham crackers, coconut, sweet and condensed milk, and chocolate. Everything you need in one bite. Super super super simple to make, and easy to eat.

Puppy Chow

Puppy Chow

Who doesn’t love puppy chow? The easiness of grabbing it out of the bag and getting a mouthful of sugar, peanut butter and chocolate. There is NOTHING better! Over the years I have been trying to perfect this simple recipe with different techniques and different measurements of ingredients. I was sick of having some pieces with more of one thing, and some with less of another.

1 stick of salted butter

1 1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter

1 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 bag of rice chex cereal

Powdered sugar

First, melt the butter, peanut butter (line measuring up with plastic bag to make clean-up easier) and chocolate chips in a saucepan until combined. In a separate bowl, pour half of the bag of chex cereal, then pour half of mixture on top, and repeat. This way, it will be easier to stir and cover each piece of cereal with the peanut butter and chocolate mixture. Once mixed, grab a paper grocery bag and pour about 2 cups of powdered sugar to the bottom, pour half of the cereal on top, and repeat. Make sure the bag is completely closed and shake well. Add more powdered sugar until everything is evenly coated, this has to be done by eye. The end result should look like the image above. Once mixed and coated, place the puppy show in the fridge and let it cool. Enjoy!!

Peanut Butter Apples

Peanut Butter Apples

Who doesn’t love peanut butter? Growing up, we all had our PB&J’s for lunch, and always wanted to take the spoon right into the jar of peanut butter. As we grow older, we know that we need our daily protein, and this will help. Moving

Homemade Granola Bars

Homemade Granola Bars

As college students, we love a quick grab and go snack. Although these take a little time to make, they can be made in large batches and are extremely healthy compared to store-bought items. Homemade granola bars! I love to make these during the weekend and have them for my busy week. Another plus side, you can add anything you like! They are great for picky eaters.
