Teriyaki Chicken & Rice

Teriyaki chicken, rice, vegetables, what more could you want? This recipe is the staple in our apartment. Super simple to make and easy to keep as leftovers! The portions are all up to debate depending on how many you would like to keep for the rest of the week. We all know we need more time in our day, so prepare a few meals with this recipe and don’t worry about cooking after a long day!

 

1/2 cup white rice

1 cup mixed vegetables

1 chicken breast

1/4 cup teriyaki sauce

 

First, boil 1/2 cup of water. Once boiling, take off heat and add 1/2 cup white rice; stir occasionally. In another saucepan, pour frozen vegetables in with a few tablespoons of water to steam. Lastly, in a George Foreman or regular pan, cook up the chicken. Then cut the chicken into bite size pieces. Once all combined in a bowl or plate, pour teriyaki sauce over all contents. Then ENJOY!
