Tuna Salad Sandwich
Although it’s an unpopular opinion, I love tuna. Ever since I was little, my dad would make us tuna salad sandwiches for lunch and I would always be the weird kid with a tuna sandwich at school instead of a PB&J. But, it’s a great lunch addition to take to school, work, or class. It is also a great addition of protein to your diet. Also, it can be made in larger quantities to last throughout the week!
2.6 oz. single packet of regular tuna
1/4 cup celery
1/4 cup mayo
1 tea. lemon juice
1/4 cup pickle relish
dash of salt & pepper
2 slices of bread
Tomato, lettuce, cheese, pickle spears (optional)
To begin, pour contents of tuna packet, celery, mayo, lemon juice, pickle relish, and salt & pepper into one bowl. While you are mixing the contents together, toast 2 slices of bread. Spread mixture onto both slices of bread. For an even better result, add pickle spears, cheese, sliced tomatoes, and lettuce to the sandwich!
