Bucks hanging in there

The Milwaukee Bucks have had a mix of positives and negatives going into the playoffs. They are 3-2 in their last 5 games with a win against the 76ers, a top team in the NBA. This firmly keeps the Bucks in the 3rd seed in the East but still 3 games away from the 2nd or 1st place in the East. This would match them up with the 6th seed in the East, the Boston Celtics. This could switch very easily as there are around 5 teams with similar records to the Celtics

The Bucks stars have been keeping them alive as Giannis Antetokounmpo is looking more like his old self, meanwhile Brook Lopez is also having a much better half of the season than he did in the beginning. If Brook Lopez can return to true form, that gives the Bucks a big man who can score from anywhere, including the three point shot. That would open up the floor massively for other teammates and allow the Bucks to send out a starting lineup that can dominate offensively. This would be huge going into the playoffs as the competition will be even more tough, with the Brooklyn Nets building a powerhouse of a team this year. The Brooklyn Nets are wildly considered the best team on paper, with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden all on the team. All three of these players are considered top 10 in the whole league and would be the favorites against the Bucks. This would not mean that the Bucks have no chance though, as the Bucks bench should be better than the Nets and Nets do have injury problems.

If the Bucks want to win it all, it will take everything they have to even get to the Championship. Thankfully the Bucks have stars of their own that have been improving as the season moves on.
