On Tuesday January 22nd the Milwaukee Brewer’s organization announced that starting in 2021 Miller Park will be under the naming rights of American Family Insurance.
The Brewers organization signed a 15 year contract with the insurance company which included the naming rights of the stadium. These naming right changes have brought up some controversy in the Milwaukee community. Fans have gone as far as signing petitions to try and keep the original name of the stadium to also just saying that the organization can name it whatever they want but they will still refer to it as Miller Park. Miller Park was just a perfect fitting name for a stadium and for an organization named the Brewers. There has been no confirmed name change yet, as it will be proposed at a later date.
