Max being the most popular dog name for the last 30+ years makes me laugh. I think another popular one, but for girl dogs, is Bella. I feel like that has been very popular for a while now. It’s funny to see how names have adapted over the decades!

This was a super interesting topic to talk about. Honestly, I think one of the most fun parts of getting a new pet is naming them! I’m not surprised that Max is so popular. I suppose it’s easy, cute, and timeless in a sense. Our dog is “Butsko” (which means chubby in Albanian). Strayed quite a bit away from the typial “Max” lol!

I hadn’t known that dog names were so popularized within different eras. It’s interesting to see how names change based off of societal preferences. It’s also unique that the name Max has dominated popularity since the 1980’s. I enjoyed this article and I can’t wait to see more content about dogs!
