To the member of Warhawk Fitness that simply wants to work out and socialize at the same time, I hear you. I understand the desire to be with others while you also kick ass in the gym. Sometimes you just want the comfort of a familiar face, and that is okay. I also understand that it can be really tough to get people to want to go to the gym with you, especially if they themselves are not as passionate about the gym as you are. Don’t lose faith now though, because I think I may have the perfect solution for you. Invite your friends to a group fitness class! All classes are free with your Warhawk Fitness membership, so there is no reason not to go. If that isn’t enough to convince you though, here are just a few other reasons.
Try something new: These classes will push you in ways you never expected. I can tell you from my own experience that I tend to get stuck in the same boring routine when I go the gym alone. Now don’t get me wrong, even going to the gym at all is a step in the right direction! However, you should definitely be mixing up your routine to work all the different muscles in your body!
Be social: Based on my personal experiences with group fitness classes, most people do not attend alone. And those who do come by themselves are easily integrated into the social setting! Group fitness is such a great place to be with friends and to meet someone new. All of this will happen while you also get into shape! Do understand though that each class has a unique atmosphere! Classes like turbo kick and triple threat will feel a lot different than yoga! Choose your class based on what you need for the day.
Experience a wide variety: As I eluded before, each class is different! There are so many factors that contribute to each class that there is no way you will ever feel like you have been through the same thing before. Between the fantastic teachers, new routines, and variation in class size, there is bound to be something that will catch your interest and keep you coming back for more!
So, my dear social butterfly, you should know that you DO have options! You can continue to utilize the wonderful facilities that Warhawk Fitness has to offer, or you can venture out of your comfort zone and try out a group fitness class! Either one is great, just remember that everything you’ve ever wanted is just one step outside of your comfort zone. Step outside with others, it will make everything a little less scary and a lot more enjoyable.
