Web applications developer Joe Rankin has given notice that he plans to leave UW-Whitewater. His last day with ICIT will be May 27. During his time on campus, Joe played a major role in the development of the campus’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, which is used to recruit students, and the redevelopment of the campus Whitepages. The ideal candidate will possess the following traits:
- Experience working with Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, CRM, Perceptive – Imagenow, and 25 live
- Experience conducting requirements gathering, testing, fit-gap analysis, troubleshooting and other aspects of software lifecycle
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system fundamentals.
- Ability to effectively use project management tools
- Excellent communications and customer service skills

ICIT seeking Network AVCT Cabling & Support Technician
ICIT is currently searching for a qualified technician to install, maintain, and repair campus network cabling infrastructure to support audio, video, and data networks. This position will be responsible for working closely with Facilities, Planning & Maintenance (FP&M) to complete both infrastructure-related data runs and classroom-related cabling needs.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Strong Knowledge of network cabling systems, including TIA/EIA copper and fiber standards.
- Strong knowledge of Crestron infrastructure cabling standards and programming.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage cables, including speaker wire, serial (RS-232 & RS-422), and other A/V standards.
- Strong Knowledge of coaxial cable standards (RG6, RG59, ETC.).

ICIT is currently seeking a qualified AVCT Support Technician to lead the AV team on campus. This is a senior level position responsible for providing top-notch technological support and expertise. This position will oversee the operational support of classroom technology at UW-Whitewater, and will participate in all classroom remodeling and technology projects on campus
The responsibilities of the AVCT Support Technician – Team Lead includes the following:
- Providing senior level support for campus AVCT technology
- Managing AVCT inventory tracking and stock
- Supervising HPSM incident tickets
- Consulting on campus technology upgrades
- Working with vendors
