Mike Olson recently joined the AIS unit of iCIT as a Senior Programmer/Analyst. He comes to us from Fastenal Company in Winona, Minnesota where he was a Senior Developer. Fastenal is a distributor of industrial supplies with stores throughout North America, as well as in the Caribbean, Asia and Europe.
Mike Olson recently joined the AIS unit of iCIT as a Senior Programmer/Analyst. He comes to us from Fastenal Company in Winona, Minnesota where he was a Senior Developer. Fastenal is a distributor of industrial supplies with stores throughout North America, as well as in the Caribbean, Asia and Europe.
Mike obtained his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Business Administration from Winona State University.
Mike’s primary area of responsibility in AIS is the support of the campus Student Administration and Human Resource Enterprise System. His duties include system analysis and design functions, system integration, system modification and troubleshooting, and advanced programming tasks. He will also be consulting with, assisting and instructing functional users in the use of applications and tools.
Mike and his wife Beth are excited to be able to live and work in Whitewater. They enjoy the benefits of small-town life. Beth also works here at UWW as an Assistant Professor in the Psychology department.
