Barry Henrichs leaving iCIT to pursue graduate study

Barry Henrichs, Web Team Coordinator, will be leaving iCIT at the end of July to pursue graduate study in communication at Marquette University.

Barry joined iCIT in 2004 as a Web Applications Developer.  In 2007, he left his position for six months to volunteer in New Orleans, and then returned to work on special projects and strategic planning.   Barry has made numerous contributions to iCIT.  Most recently as Web Team Coordinator, he aided the Web Team in completing several major projects including  the rollout of the Ingeniux Content Management System, and the elimination of the last ColdFusion applications.

Upon Mary Jo deMeza’s retirement at the end of this week, the members of the Web Team will report to Kent Steinike.  Over the next month, Barry will transition the day-to-day management of the team to Kent.  Long-term, the reporting structure of the Web Team will depend on the resolution of other staff searches and transitions currently in progress.

Please join us in thanking Barry for his service, and wishing him the best of luck in his new endeavors.
