2022 Fall Divisional Meeting – Thank you!

Another successful divisional meeting is in the books! A sincere thank you for your attendance, participation, and feedback. It was wonderful to hear how much fun we all had as well as your appreciation for the knowledge gained. We hope you had a chance to meet our newest team members and/or catch up with someone you haven’t seen recently.

We were happy to welcome back our very own entertainer, Sean Lehr. Great job again Sean! Thank you for your performance.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Spring 2023!

Thank you to our hard working ICIT Student Employees!

Did you know we have almost 40 student employees just in ICIT? National Student Employment Week is the perfect opportunity to show our appreciation and understanding of the contributes they make to our campus.

Held annually the second week in April, National Student Employment Week was established to increase public awareness and to recognized students who work while attending college.  It is also a time to recognize supervisors that oversee the student experience by providing training and mentoring to prepare students for their careers.

Katie Lunow, General Access Lab Student Manager
Carter Waelchli, LTC Media Technician

Let’s take a moment to recognize the importunate and impact of our ICIT student employees.  We appreciate you and thank you for your dedication to our mission!  We would not be able to do it without you!

Thank you to all ICIT Student Employees!

December 3rd party patch

Starting Tuesday, December 21, the December third-party patch will be available for ICIT staff. ICIT staff will be in the first group to have the update available for installation prior to the full-campus release on Thursday, December 23. To review what is included in this patch, please see KB0010991.

The patch runs differently for macOS and PC/Windows devices:

  • macOS devices will receive a pushed update on December 21 that will run silently in the background. If your Mac is not on the campus network (remote employees), your device will need to be connected to Cisco AnyConnect VPN for a few hours to complete the update.
  • PC/Windows devices will see notification when the patch becomes available in Software Center on December 21.
    • Prior to updating, please close Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Windows users who do not self-install the update by Thursday, December 23 at 7 am will have the update pushed to their computer. At that time, the push can be deferred for 24 hours, after that deferral, Chrome and Firefox must be closed before starting the installations.
    • Employees not on the campus network will need to connect to Cisco AnyConnect VPN for a few hours to complete the update.

Both Mac and Windows users can reference KB0011003 for more information on the push process.

If you experience any issues during or after the install process, please contact Joel Koszyczarek.
