Carolyn Wilson has announced she will be leaving UW-Whitewater to join a technology company called SPSI – Systems Programming & Solutions, Inc. in Wauwatosa in the position of eMarketing Manager. In this newly created role, Carolyn will build up not only their digital marketing, but marketing as a whole for SPSI. Carolyn’s last day at UW-Whitewater will be Friday, April 12.
Since joining ICIT in 2006, Carolyn has been a key contributor to many ICIT initiatives. She was instrumental in transitioning various campus websites from the old Content Management System (CMS) to the new Ingenuix CMS and played a key role in developing the mobile strategy and plan. During this transition, she ensured that all UWW websites met consistent branding and Section 508 Accessibility standards. Her work was very much appreciated by our customers across campus. In 2012, Carolyn received a Chancellor’s Award on Disability Concerns for her work to ensure all UWW web content meets World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)’s Accessibility Guidelines.
We thank Carolyn for her years of dedicated service to the University and ICIT. We wish her the best of luck in all future endeavors!
The web team is working with the customers to prioritize Carolyn’s projects. While this assessment will continue for a few weeks, all inquiries regarding the logistics of Carolyn’s projects should be directed to Anand Vangipuram.
